International News Writing course for US and Indian journalists

I just made a blog post about Cancer Research in the Media: Inter-American Worksh.... Applications are being accepted now through July 15. This workshop is for journalists who work in Latin American or in the United States writing for Hispanic/Latino audiences and media outlets.

The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) hosts a training program for journalists who focus on the health and biomedical research fields. It's called Medicine in the Media. Unfortunately, the 2010 course was canceled, but I think it will be back in 2011. Here's a website where you can sign up for notifications: http://medmediacourse.nih.gov/

Would it be worth AlphaGalileo running one of its training courses at the World Conference of Science Journalists in Cairo?
