Dear Dr. Navaraj,

I completely agree that better communication of water subjects to the public is highly needed. This past summer I coordinated an issue about water research at MIT for MIT Spectrum, the magazine published by MIT Resource Development. The idea was to write about the research for a general audience. Following is a link to the magazine; the researchers profiled are from--and work with--a variety of countries.

Dear Elizabeth,

Thanks for your valuable information.

In Sep 2011, our college is organising an international conference on groundwater in relation to climate change, and in this we add up a special session on public communication of ground water management and so we welcome papers for this conference.I am trying to send some case studies of communication impact in ground water management.

In India, more stress is now given to the dissemination of scientific concepts to the public.

I do hope that your information will be of great help in this context.

Navaraj
