Dear Ashine,
Good to hear from you. The Network of Climate Journalists in the Greater Horn of Africa (NECJOGHA) would like to work with all journalists in the Greater Horn and the rest of Africa.
You are all free to access www.necjogha.org. This website is a networking resource that enables journalist from all over the world to get information on Climate change and related sectors as well as sharing of information between journalists, scientists and other specialists, There is also dedicated discussion forum for each country in the Greater Horn. It all free and please join and encourage all others you know in Ethiopia and elsewhere to join.
We have an upcoming Climate Change Workshop for Africa due from August 3-5th 2009 in Kampala. The announcement is coming out officially before the end of this month. We hope journalists will be able to attend in large numbers but the shortcoming may be funding.
Tell all this to both organisations you talk about. We want all groups to be networked and that is what we stand for.
Patrick Luganda
Chairman NECJOGHA
