- I am a Science Policy and Communication consultant, currently working as a Communications Manager at the Department of Health. I also work with Newton's Apple - an organisation which seeks to improve the interface between science and policy and am one of the UK Coordinators for Yearoutindia.

In brief, Newton's Apple is now officially a registered Charity, and will shortly be launching it's second health report, 'Delivering Innovative Cancer Diagnostics and Treatments to Patients.' NA will also be hosting an 'explaining policy' workshop the British Association 2008 Science Communication Conference. I'll try to keep you up-to-date as we go along.
