My we initiate a discussion on a critical issue haunting my mind ...seems since eternity?....(and I am sure it would sustain for a long time)., and thats regarding knowledge and helath practices wrt indigenous medicinal systems. I would like to share a recent interaction I had during a WBI work shop in New Delhi. We had a very informative discussion on knowledge management and its role in sust. devt. I would invite your views from a developing country perspective on the direct use of knowlede as a tool for poverty reduction and environmental sustainability, and the role of indigenous health systems and media / research networks (like the present one) towards achieving the objective. Any previously published works (links to the works) would also be immensely appreciated,
I remain,
gratefully yours,
Yogesh
