I am a Public Affairs Specialist in the U.S. National Cancer Institute's Office of Communications (OCE) focusing on Multicultural and International Communications (M&I). We recently convened the inaugural "Cancer Research in the Media Inter-American Workshop for Scientific Journalism" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was attended by more than 40 journalists and media professionals from six different countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay and U.S. I'm interested in staying connected to the individuals who attended the workshop as well as finding out more about what others are doing in similar fields.
