Thanks for your reply. I am out of touch with any media/health research in Vietnam and thus very interested in everything. Perhaps you have some published papers, even on the web, or references of your stuff. Would be fun. I imagine there are big differences since I was there in 1999. I saw e.g. that the media were quiet outspoken around side effects of drugs and a scandal recently. Am going away on hols now and a bit pressed for time but would love to keep up the connection.
Yes I have been to Sapa and though it was extremely beautiful, perhaps a bit IT-underfunded.

I work as a researcher on public opinion and mass media. My major studies include reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases, harm reduction interventions.
