COP 15 Climate and Development film festival
This is a call for film submissions for the third edition of the Development & Climate (D&C) Days film festival
We are looking for short films (up to 10 minutes) on climate and development. The festival will run over the weekend (12-13 December) during COP 15, as a parallel event to the D&C days.

Documentary film in Jakarta; climate risks in slums
Headed for Jakarta in a couple of weeks to shoot a short documentary on climate related risks in the slums of Jakarta. This means that we are looking at floods, sanitation, violence, health, and anything that just gets worse for slum dwellers as the climate starts to go bonkers. At the moment there is no way to upload footage. We consult with our advisory board to select contributing speakers in advance. However I would be interested to hear who you've spoken to. Perhaps you'll be amenable to a chat about letting us broadcast some or all?

thanks for your reply. Yes i think we shd connect the alumnies ourselves. i will try getting a list of the ESDs from Pascale when she is around in London. We can do the same for other specialisations in the DPU.
that is impressive. urban issues are really mounting up and draining the resources towards a consumable culture where renewability is all the way absent or in cases where renewables are made available, thier production is extremely complex and expensive. Smaller towns, rural tuning to contemporary facilities is one of the issues we are currently advocating.
