I am MIT-trained print journalist in Kenya. I seek to understand how developing countries can develop resources and provide better lives to their citizens. I report widely on environment, health and energy in East Africa.

I've read with interest your coverage on carbon trading in yesterday's Star.
If you're interested, I'll be glad to send you an invitation to the NaturallyAfrican workshop ICRAF is hosting next week as a sub-regional consultation on natural products development (Monday/Tuesday 18th-19th May) in Gigiri.
It seems to be in line with your interests, as stated above...
hi, the war in Vietnam passed by 32 years, such a long time and we are having a very peaceful life, though there're still difficuilties. We are developing, and the economy needs more time to reach a better status. However, I think Vietnam is doing very well. The most important thing is the friendly, peaceful among people in Vietnam. Many things to talk about my country. Hope to have time to talk more with you about my dear country !!

Hello John,
you looks very upset from Qatar because of your athletes as you told me here : ( Qatar has taken away most of our top athletes. If i had a way, i would bring you in Kenya in revenge! )
So, If you want to bring me to Kenya in revenge as you said , I think you should looking for some friends from Morocco and another countries to bring them also to Kenya ..Because your top athletes are based now in many countries over the world .
About my self i agree and it's my pleasure to bring me to Kenya , but without any revenge .. my dear .
You asked how science journalists should be effective. That is a big question. Obviously they have to target an audience that is consonant with the medium in which they publish; they have to be attended to. I think to be effective, however, they have to try to provide information that their audience needs, not just to get readers. And of course, they have to provide good quality information. Ideally, they should stimulate interest, and provide leads to the reader to get more.
