I've been looking for architects designing energy efficient buildings and want to discuss the economics of putting up solar panels on roofs. I'm glad to have found you here. Pl mail me with info & insights. Thanks
I have stayed away from this site for quite a time now because of an urgent and time consuming media engagement that has been very intriguing and of course, tinted with some shame,I must say.It is about the TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION COMMISSION that was set up to look into the causes and the perpetrators of community based crisis that engulfed the entire breadth of the oil rich Rivers State of Nigeria.Indeed,it is obvious that some politicians who had sworn to protect lives and property were at the head of it all for selfish gains.
Well to begin with the discussion (and I am sure it would sustain for a long time) I would like to share a recent interaction I had during a WBI work shop in New Delhi. We had very informative discussions on knowledge management and its role in sust. devt. I would invite your views from a developing country perspective on the direct use of knowlede as a tool for poverty reduction and environmental sustainabilit, and the role of media and research networks (like the present one) towards achieving the objective. Any previously published works (links to the works) would also be immensely appreciated,
I remain,
gratefully yours,
Yogesh
We have developed a fast-eco-building technique that also allows a lot of participation from people if they want to. Both characteristics allow a great cost reduction in building and living in such constructions. We would like to partner with a construction team in india participating in large building projects.... we hear there are sometimes projects for 100-ds and thousands of houses to meet the growing population. would you be interested to team up or pass us on to such parties ?
Hi Madhurima,
Thanks for your mail. You rightly spell my name. What particular issues now you are studying in Environment and Sustainable Development department? do you have any comment about Georgr Bush's recent statement on climate change.
By the way, currently I'm also in London and will stay here for a while.
Best wishes,
Saadi
