I did follow the story a bit and heard of other people's comments regarding the image and the dignity of women.The sad story regarding that strike told more then just the need for economically sound wages. One of them being the very impact of the brain drain. Zambia has probably exported more nurses than any country I can think of in that region.
I have since March this year been working for a consulting firm called Mercer as a projects coordinator. It is not on a permanent basis but a very good start since we moved here with my family early late year.
A month ago I was talking to Nerbert and from what I gathered MEAD was not doing very well. I hope things look up and those who are interested work on a few areas that can work and make a difference-especially regarding forging partnerships.
