Have a degree in science journalism; have been working with various media organisations in India for 15 years; and presently, I edit science section of The Telegraph, a leading English newspaper published from Calcutta.

Hi TV. Nice meeting you here. I was in New Delhi some years back at the invitation of Sunita Narain (CSE) where I met several Indian journalists--Gargi Parsai, Lyla Bavadam and Dr R Prasad, all of them from The Hindu. It was during my visit to Singapore that I met two bright young women, Kiran Yadav (The Financial Express) and Vishnupriya Sengupta (The Telegraph). I wonder if you know any of them, or if they have joined this group. Kind regards.

The German School for Specialised Journalism is a Distance University in German where you can study to become a journalist for a specific field - like science - if you have a degree in that area already. I think it's great! This is the website (just German, I'm afraid): www.dfjs.org
