He appealed to the federal government to come to the aid of private universities in Nigeria since they contribute in no small measure to the human and capital development of the country.

Olatunde advised that since the large chunk of taxes come from the private sector, government should allow them access to Tertiary Education Tax Fund (TETFUND) for improved service delivery.

On his relationship with God and fellow humans, he said "My relationship with other people is so good that I think I consider other people before myself once it’s not going to cost me anything" buttressing that he abided with Allah's injunctions and performed his prayers five times daily.

Olatunde also expressed his satisfaction with the institution's graduates already working high places, citing Eisalat, MTN and Dangote Group where his predecessors were already making waves.

He said "although we may be comparing Crescent University with others in terms of education, we can never do such when it comes to character."He noted that the vision of the Proprietor, Judge Bola Ajibola on building character with education would make the next generation a blessed one.
