Journalism fellowship for South Asian, you can apply

Journalism fellowship open [South Asia]

Journalists from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Bangladesh can apply for a fellowship.

The Caravan-Panos Special Assignment Fellowship program, sponsored by the Asia Media Forum, is designed to encourage in-depth coverage of topics of pressing concern in South Asia.

The fellowship aims to strengthen enterprise reporting. Reporters are encouraged to dig up new stories or significantly advance stories that have been covered, but not in magazine depth. Selected articles will be considered for publication in The Caravan.

Applications are invited from journalists with over five years of relevant experience to work either on a freelance basis over a few months or full-time for five weeks on a single assignment.

Fellowships are limited to print journalists and writers who are fluent in English. For more information, clickhere.
