Bangladesh
Such a meeting is important if Bangladesh wants to succeed with its very ambitious to move towards a more digitalized country. However, focusing only on information telecommunication (IT), Science and technology research is not getting enough attention (and funding), this is what the BSWJF is trying to correct, according to Saadi Mir Lutful Kabir, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Science Writers & Journalists Forum (BSWJF).

If you wish to attend the event, it will be held Saturday January 29, 2011 at the VIP Lounge of the National Press Club, Dhaka, Bangladesh at 3:00pm (GMT +1 = BST). Editors of national dailies and electronic media, scientists, educationists, editors of science pages and members of the forum will take part in this dialogue. Mr. Gulap Monir, Vice-President of the forum and a noted science writer will present the opening speech while Prof Dr. Mohmmad Ibrahim, president of the forum will be in the chair.
