Hi, I am a forester/environmental scientist/sustainable development researcher, and I work at University for Peace, in Costa Rica. I am interested in the role of natural resources management in poverty reduction, and sustainable development in peace building. I am looking for paid PhD programmes on Development issues.

Parece que no compartimos lo de ser ticos...justo ahora trabajo en el Project Idea Note para la ZUM de la Biosfera Maya en el Petén y por lo visto tiene experiencia en la zona.

I have done research on community forestry concessions in Peten, Guatemala; on Payment for Environmental Services in Costa Rica; and on the link between poverty and forests in general.
