In this Millennium, the World is still mired in extreme poverty and destitution, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. The destitution persist despites the advancement of science and technology. In the long run, I believe that sustainable food production can benefit from the on-going research and development in biotechnology. However, meeting food security goals will be a great challenge. What is your take on the current food security concerns in Africa?
