There is something about the Copenhagen Accord of which its text and goals are worth exploring further so that people can learn more about the truth between the lines and thus better prepare themselves to deal with what to come in the future.
Best wishes,

Earth Journalism Award to Loefken

Oliver Loefken won the Earth Journalism Award with his article about Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. Masdar City is a test-tube town designed to spare the environment both greenhouse gases and waste.

He will receive his award during the UN Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen, 7-18 December.

Now Oliver, vice-chair of the German Science Writers TELI and co-founder of Wissenschaft-aktuell (science up to date), is nominated for the Global Public Award.

Please vote for him:

Thanks Monica for your concern. You understand that a problem of such degree may not be solved by the peoples or citizens in isolation. There must be well planned and organized national and international interventions to face such problems.I think media and intelligentia may raise the issues for awareness and action immediately.Experts of concerned discipline of Kenya may strive to recommend the solutions through media and government machinery.

Climate has taken toll on the people of Kenya. Millions are facing starvation due to prolonged drought, conflict has emerged among communities due to lack of resources and especially water. Domestic and wild animals have not been spared either.
What action should the people of Kenya take?
