I am trying to pin down what transfer of technology might mean in the context of the international negotiations on climate change: as a starter, I am trying to identify who Northern organisations with science and technology information could most usefully contact in the South. I am particularly interested in views on whether there are Southern NGOs and academic institutions who would be (a) interested in receiving such information and (b) likely to make use of it, in terms of applying it. Any thoughts on this topic would be much appreciated.
