Forestry issues are key to so many aspects of sustainable development in Laos. So your work is timely and worthwhile indeed. Are you in touch with LEAP and NAFRI contacts?

Anuradha, great to be in touch - Laos is a fascinating case study in sustainable development, given that it has only recently opened up to globalisation and the wider world. In the context of my dissertation on biofuels, I have been doing field work on Thai investment in energy crop contract farming in southwestern Laos. What are you working on?
Yours,
Sabrina
