Short Biography:
Journalist, researcher and writer Mir Lutful Kabir Saadi is founder General Secretary of the Bangladesh Science Writers & Journalists Forum (Member, World Federation of Science Journalists). He is Editor of the Spectrum (science magazine), contributing Editor of the Monthly Computer Jagat and Research Fellow of the Integrated Education & Research Foundation, Dhaka. He is also founder editor of the ICT page, The Financial Express (national daily newspaper), Dhaka and Special Correspondent, IMPACT International (magazine), UK.
Basically a science student, studied Physics later he received MSS degree in International Relations from the University of Dhaka. He is working as a journalist in print media for more than two decades. He also worked in a private University as a Faculty, Academic Co-ordinator and Director. He was awarded United Nations-ESCAP/FEJB award for Environmental Reporting. He is a Fellow of the 21st Century Trust, London, U.K. He published more than one thousand Articles, Reports, and Features etc. and co-author of two books including a textbook.
He attended many international events including, Commonwealth Heads of the Governments Meeting held in Edinburgh, Scotland, October1997, Conference of the Tomorrows World Leader, Merton College, Oxford University, March 2001, Conference of the Tomorrows World Leader, Madingly Hall, Cambridge University, October 2003, World Science Journalists Conference, Melbourne, Australia, 2007.
He is also Editor of Mother Tongue-Matribhasha, Bi-lingual international magazine on language. He is a permanent Member of National Press Club, Dhaka and Member of Overseas Correspondents Association of Bangladesh.
