Hi there. I call myself a scientist journalist-gone-editor now. I grew up in Papua New Guinea, have an undergraduate BSc (Marine Zoology) Melbourne University, and a Masters in Science Communication and Journalism from Imperical College, London, UK. In London I worked for the BBC and Nature for 6 years, before undertaking lowland gorilla conservation work in Gabon, West Africa in 2001. I then returned to Australia (2002) where I commenced work as Managing Editor of Ecos Magazine (www.publish.csiro.au/ecos) at CSIRO in Melbourne. Ecos covers emerging issues in sustainability across Australia and the Asia Pacific region, for a general audience. Personal interests are sport, travel, music and current affairs. Please get in touch if you have similar professional/personal interests. Thanks to Mike for setting this up>> James.
